Tett@10 Corrections and the KAC’s Participation
Yesterday’s newsletter listed the wrong details for Tett@10: Reflections, thank you for your patience as we set the record straight and give this exciting event the attention it deserves!
On Saturday, October 4 at 7:00 PM, the Tett Centre for Creativity & Learning invites you to a one-night-only celebration for their 10th anniversary! Since opening in 2015, the Tett has been a cornerstone of Kingston’s arts sector—a place where artists, creatives, and community members come together to connect, learn, and create.
This immersive evening will transform the Tett into a vibrant showcase of Kingston’s artistic fabric, with live music by The Gertrudes, a dance floor with DJ ZARI, interactive installations, art-making activities, film screenings, and more.
The KAC’s Participation
We’re excited to be part of this celebration by hosting a Sensory-Friendly Break Station: a quiet, reflective space designed with accessibility and self-care in mind. Playing on the theme of “Reflections,” this “self-reflection” station will offer:
An access kit with helpful items like:
Stim items
Earplugs
Sunglasses
Blankets & plushies

Comfortable seating
Relaxing music
It’s a place to pause, recharge, and reflect before rejoining the festivities.
