KAC NEWS & UPDATES

One Year of the KAC Membership Program!

This spring marks one year since the KAC relaunched its Membership Program and what a year it has been.

When we first reopened registration, we weren’t sure what to expect. What we found was an arts sector that was ready and eager to show up for one another. In our first year, over 125 artists have signed up to become KAC Members. To each of you: thank you. Your support of the KAC has made this program really special and you’re the reason it works.

And we’re just getting started! We have so many plans and additions to the program in the works, including a new membership event this June! Stay tuned for more updates on that.

The KAC Member Directory

One of the cornerstones of the Membership Program is the KAC Member Directory: a searchable, public database of local artists working across every discipline. Whether you’re a musician available for private events, a muralist seeking commissions, a photographer promoting your services, or a visual artist offering workshops, your profile puts you in front of artists, businesses, and residents across the region.

If you're already a member, we encourage you to revisit and update your profile. If you haven't signed up yet, this directory is one of the best reasons to start. One of our major goals for Year 2 of the membership program is to expand the reach and use of the database to become a reliable and valued resource for artists in Katarokwi/Kingston.
