Position: Program Administrator
Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week)
Rate: $20 per hour
Duration: 8-week contract beginning 16 June 2025; possibility for extension

KAC is seeking applications for the position of Program Administrator. Working under the supervision of an in collaboration with the Program and Communications Coordinator, the Program Administrator will be responsible for supporting, developing, and executing KAC programs, with a primary focus on the KAC Membership program and the Artist Prosperity Project. This is an 8-week contract with the possibility of extension for an additional 7 weeks (pending funding). UNIT 115

‘Colour Theory’ by qBFA closes soon!

Date: 6 May - 6 June
Location: Kingston Arts Council — Unit 115, 370 King St W, Kingston
Closing Reception: 5 June 2025

Colour Theory is a striking exhibition by the Queen’s Black Fashion Association (qBFA) that explores the significance of colour in relation to identity, culture, and self-expression. On view at the KAC until Friday, 6 June, this exhibition is both celebration and conversation: a vibrant space where fashion becomes language and colour becomes story, encouraging connection, reflection, and representation in the public sphere.

Location: Kingston Arts Council’s office at the Tett Centre (Unit 115)

Join us for the closing reception of Colour Theory! Celebrate this stunning exhibition and attend the artist talk by photographer King-David Olajuwon beginning at 6:00 PM.

SpiderWebShow’s Festival of Live Digital Art (FOLDA) is back, June 4-7th in Kingston, ON. Planting seeds of Resistance and Solidarity through ART with radical performances both in-person and online that will inspire you to look at art in new ways.

Featuring a live concept album, a performance where story, video games, and A.I. collide, performances from Kingston’s Deaf Spirit Theatre and a radical rethinking of the StartUp Industry Series where we ask the question: how we can create Art for Better Times. Kingston School of Dance

“BLOOM in my garden”  features our young dancer’s program of pre-primary, primary, pre-grade 1 and beginner levels.  Join these young movers as they start out on their dancing journey – dipping their toes into all styles of dance – and exploring through a spring garden of growth, colour and excitement.

KSOD is delighted to be celebrating 57 years of excellence in dance, watching their students perform, sharing choreography from their acclaimed teachers, and inviting the community to experience KSD’s dedication to the arts in Kingston.
