Last Chance – Artist Prosperity Survey Closes Tonight!

If you’re an artist living or working in Katarokwi/Kingston, we need to hear from you!

The Artist Prosperity Survey closes tonight at 11:59 PM, and this is your final opportunity to share your story and have your voice heard.

A high response rate is essential. 

Whether you’re a visual artist, musician, or performing artist, emerging, mid-career, or established, your input is vital. The survey is anonymous, takes only 15–20 minutes, and the deadline to share your perspective has been extended!

Please share this with fellow artists! Your voice matters, and so does theirs.

The KAC is using this survey to gather crucial information about the real economic conditions and creative practices of artists living and working in Katarokwi/Kingston. Our goal is to use this data to better advocate for artists and the entire arts industry, but we need your input to ensure that our efforts are aligned with the actual needs and requirements of the sector.

This survey is your chance to make sure your experiences and challenges are counted, but time is running out!

The City of Kingston Arts Fund Project Grant Applications - Now Closed

Administered annually by the Kingston Arts Council (KAC) on behalf of the City of Kingston, CKAF supports projects that enrich how Kingston residents experience and engage with the arts.

This year, we introduced a streamlined application process, offering grants of up to $10,000 to individuals, collectives, and organizations for projects that demonstrate meaningful engagement with local artists, benefit the broader Kingston community, and align with CKAF program objectives.

Successful applicants will be notified in October. Thank you to everyone who applied!

So What Do You Eat? by Lola Posy

Location: Kingston Arts Council — Unit 115, 370 King St W, Kingston

So What Do You Eat? is an exploration of food, disability, and the radical act of learning to love eating again. Through crochet wall hangings and soft sculptures, Lola Posy invites viewers into the complex realities of living as a vegetarian with contamination OCD and a digestive disease; conditions that turn something as universal as eating into a source of anxiety, frustration, and careful negotiation.

TK Fringe, Kingston’s annual fringe festival, will be returning this summer from August 7th to August 17th, 2025!
